Born into caring arms.

Updated: Oct 5, 2025

I Mitch Mosh (Moshman) was born into a caring household May 10, 1992. No one knew that I would have the issues that I did. I show early signs of aggression and anti-social behavior. Perhaps it stemmed from listening to very aggressive music, horror movies and early consumption of alcohol. I don't regret having those influences in my life so early but it did alienate my from the kids at school and society as a whole.

My grandparents saved me from going to far off the edge, they taught me immensely about nature, gardening, golf, cooking, politics and the importance of love. From very early on I was into activism because of them, we saved their local hospital which is still benefiting my grandparents over 30 years later. My Grandparents volunteered at a conservation area near Fort Erie and when the man that owned it died a developer bought it and wanted to destroy the nature, we protested and now the land is protected for 100 years. I would go down to Florida to visit my Grandparents and would help build houses with Habitat for Humanity and go for walks through Corkscrew Swamp. I would not be the same without my grandparents and neither would be Canada. They were amazing activist and the positive change they have made for Canada and me are immeasurable.

My Grandfather is the first person that approved my work in Uganda saying that if it was him and everyone was telling him not to do it, he would go for it. They were no strangers to helping Africans either, they we even friendly with Jane Goodall in the past.

My grandmother taught me about Buddhism and guided me in my healing from being very angry. They never judged me and I still talk about Buddhism with my Grandma to help in my life situation and her current situation ( End of Life.) I will continue writing soon!
